Every potential partner, from yacht charters to private villas, is assessed against a comprehensive 100-point rubric. This ensures a consistent, objective, and holistic evaluation. The rubric is weighted across four critical domains:

1. Connectivity & Productivity Infrastructure (40 Points)

This is the most heavily weighted category, as it is the foundation of a successful work-stay.

Internet Performance (25 pts): We conduct multiple speed tests at different times of day using Ookla Speedtest Global. We measure download/upload speeds, latency (ping), and jitter. A key factor is redundancy; the presence of both fiber and satellite (Starlink) with automatic failover is required for a top score.
Power Stability (10 pts): We verify the presence, capacity, and automatic switching time of backup power generators (gensets). The availability of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units for critical equipment is also assessed.
Workspace Ergonomics (5 pts): We evaluate the quality of desks, chairs (lumbar support), monitors (if available), and lighting to ensure a comfortable and productive work environment.

2. Luxury & Comfort (30 Points)

We assess the factors that contribute to a seamless and restorative living experience.

Quality of Build & Furnishings (15 pts): This covers everything from the quality of the mattress and linens to the appliances in the kitchen and the water pressure in the shower. Materials, craftsmanship, and interior design are scrutinized.
Service & Staffing (10 pts): We evaluate the professionalism, training, discretion, and English proficiency of the staff. The staff-to-guest ratio is a key metric.
Privacy & Security (5 pts): We assess the level of privacy, on-site security measures (personnel, CCTV), and secure access protocols.

3. Location & Lifestyle Integration (20 Points)

A great stay is about more than just the property; it’s about the lifestyle it enables.

Location & Views (10 pts): Proximity to key areas like the town center, Pede Beach, and desirable viewpoints like Kalor Hill. The quality of the natural surroundings and views is paramount.
Access to Wellness & Recreation (5 pts): Availability of on-site or nearby high-quality facilities such as pools, gyms, yoga shalas, and easy access to top-tier dive centers and trekking guides.
Culinary Experience (5 pts): Quality of in-house chefs or proximity and access to the best dining options in the area.

4. Sustainability & Compliance (10 Points)

We believe true luxury is responsible. This is a non-negotiable part of our assessment.

Environmental Practices (5 pts): We audit waste management systems, policies on single-use plastics, and water/energy conservation measures.
Community & Legal (5 pts): We verify adherence to Indonesian labor laws (BPJS coverage), proper business licensing (*TDUP*), and evidence of positive community engagement or local sourcing.

The Audit Process

Our evaluation is not a one-time event. Our local leadership team, including our General Manager, conducts an initial, unannounced site inspection for any potential new partner. For all existing partners, we perform a formal audit against this rubric annually. We also gather continuous, confidential feedback from our long-stay guests to ensure standards are consistently met.
